Evening on Angel Island looking out on San Francisco and the Bay.
A short ferry ride across the bay drops you on Angel Island. The island has been everything from a military base to an immigration center and now a national historical landmark. It is one of the least populated locations in the Bay Area, making for beautiful, quiet evenings… as long as there is no fog.
The line art drawing has been screen printed onto a 300 gram watercolor paper in a dark navy water-based ink and individually watercolored by hand. Hand coloring each print makes each print unique. The color palette is consistent through out the edition but there is variation from print to print. Celebrate diversity! If you have any questions about this, please ask.
